Tunnelling is probably the most severe application for hammers.
The working position with the chisel upward to break tunnel ceiling makes dust and rock splinters enter into the breaker’s body causing big damages to piston, cylinder and bushings.
In order to limit these problems, Promove provides its hammers for tunnelling use with a specific protection kit made of harder bushings, closing pads for the tool retainers and special steel and floating nylon bushings to close as much as possible the tool/bu shing space as much as possible and limit dust getting in.
Also, Promove can provide a dust suppression kit to deliver high pressure air/water spray directly at the bottom of the breaker.
PROMOVE breakers deliver excellent performance and reliability even in underwater application.
PROMOVE provides specific kit for ports, docks, channels construction and all the applications in which the hammer must work underwater.
Connection for compressed air avoids entrance of water getting into the breaker and prevents breakage and corrosion of vital components.
Air hose attachment is located at the top of the hammer in order to keep it protected against accidental hits due to lack of visibility of the immersed part.
Hydraulic breakers are more and more often used in steel factories where their application is cleaning ladles and moulds and to remove scale.
To face these critical conditions XP hammers can be equipped with specific kit of sealings, bushings and chisels deisgned to work in hot environments.
